Paying out consignors
See what you owe each consignor and register what you've paid out.
Updated October 20, 2026
Every sale of a consignor's item raises that consignor's balance. The balance is what you still have to pay out. On your dashboard, To pay out shows the total and who you owe the most.
Paying out
EasyConsign doesn't transfer money itself. You pay out the way you've agreed with the consignor: cash in the shop or by bank transfer. Then you record it:
- Open the consignor under Consignors.
- Click Register new payout.
- Enter the amount you paid out and save.
The amount comes off the balance. The consignor also sees the payout through their personal link.
Fixing a mistake
Entered the wrong amount? Click Undo next to the payout. The payout stays in the list, crossed out, so you can still see later what happened. Then register the right amount.
After a return
A customer brings back an item you'd already paid the consignor for? Then the consignor owes you that share, and their balance goes below zero. When you get the money back, choose Register repayment. See also Refunds and returns.
How often to pay out?
That's up to you and your consignors. Many shops pay out once a month, or whenever the consignor drops by. Also agree on what happens to things that haven't sold after a few months. In EasyConsign, set those to Back to consignor, so they're no longer in your stock.
