Getting started with EasyConsign
From new account to first sale, in the order that works fastest.
Updated October 20, 2026
You have an account and a shop. These are the steps to start selling on day one. You can also spread them over a few days.
1. Fill in your shop details
Go to Settings > Shop. Add your address and your logo. Both go on the receipt. Also choose your shop's language: customers get their receipts in it, and consignors get their emails in it.
2. Add yourself as an employee
The register is for employees. Do you work the counter yourself? Then add yourself under Employees and pick a 4-digit register code. That's how you log in to the register. Read more in Employees and permissions.
3. Set up the register computer
The register runs in Firefox on a computer. You set up that browser as a register once. Setting up a register or phone explains how. Have a receipt printer? Then also follow Setting up the receipt printer.
4. Add your consignors
Under Consignors > Add consignor, enter the name and, if you have it, the email address. Every consignor gets a number. With an email address, the consignor gets a personal link right away to see their own items and balance.
5. Add your first items
Under Items > Add item, enter the name and price, and pick the consignor and the percentage they get. With Save and print barcode, the item goes straight onto the print list. You can do this on your phone too, see Adding items with your phone.
6. Print the labels and start selling
Print the barcodes under Barcode labels > Print items, stick them on the items, and open the register. Scan an item, choose cash or card, and the receipt comes out of the printer. See Checking out at the register.
During the 30-day free trial, you can use everything with 1 shop and up to 100 items. You don't pay anything yet.
